My Reflection

 I have been learning to solve multiplication problems with 2 digit numbers . I used place valve to solve this problem . I found this easy because I know my place valve so I can use it . My next step is to solve division problems with reminders .                                                    

Comparing Celebrations

My reflection

We have been learning to compare and contrast different celebrations.  My group researched information about Holi. Something I found interesting was that Holi was about good over evil.  Next we worked with another group and used a Venn diagram to compare our celebrations.Things that were the same is they are both celebration by families and both have special food.  My next step is to put more detail and information in the Venn diagram.

We have been learning about celebrations. There are different types of celebrations. We had to talk about these celebrations and decide what type of celebration they were. I found this easy because there is no right or wrong as long as I can expertly why.

I have been learning to add detail to my writing . We had imagine we were a soldier or a family member and write about this picture . I use details to make my writing more insetting . My next step is to use language features like similes onomatopoeia and alliteration. 
                                                                

A Moment In time

My Reflection


I have been learning to use strategies to add detail to my writing.  I wrote about a moment in time during my holiday.  I used my 5 senses to add detail to my writing.  I need to improve on adding detail.  I got a lot better at using new word.  I found this work easy because its just a moment in time. The best part of this is the photo.
My next step is to make everything better in my work.

Softball Skills

Yesterday we had Softball Skills. And I felt excited.  It was lots of fun.

I have been learning to collect data using a tally chart and show the results on a bar graph.  I found this easy because tally marks are easy to do.  I was surprised that so many people loved New Zealand My next step is to learn how put information onto different types of graphs.
