My Welcome post 2017

Welcome to my Year 4 learning blog.  This year I am in Room 12 and my teacher is Mrs Melville.  I enjoy maths, reading, writing, also maths on my Chrome book. This year I am looking forward to make everything get to well above. I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.

Reading the time correctly

Reflection I have learnt to read the minutes of analogue clock correctly.  I need to work on putting  the 01 to 12 number or the hour first.   I also need to work on using the words past and to instead of reading just the numbers.

Youthtown throwing skills

We learned throwing skills with Youthtown.  Here I am playing dodgeball.

Procedural writing

Reflection 
I have learnt to write a set of instructions.  It was hard to write because it was hard to think about how to sneak a monster to school to brainstorm.  I need to work on reading my writing when I bring it to the teacher to look for mistakes.  I also need to work on making an equipment list for my instructions.

I have lead to chunk words. I found it easy because I learned to chunk word in the middle of 2 consonants.
